Caribou Creek Ice Climbing

Numerous climbs have been discovered along the Caribou Creek drainage which extends many miles into the backcountry.  The lower Caribou Creek climbs extend up to the Caribou Creek waterfall and are accessed straight off of the Glenn Highway, whereas, the upper Caribou Creek climbs are found beyond.  Access to the upper Caribou Creek area can be achieved by climbing over the waterfall after a long 5 mile one way approach.  However, if a snow machine is available, leaving from Eureka makes these upper creek climbs an easier approach.
