Approach: From the Hunter Creek bridge hike upriver. This is the yellow, large pillar that becomes visible after about 30-40 minutes on the left.
Route: This route has two steps and is climbed in two pitches. The first curtain is nice and steep and is about 70-80 feet in length. After topping out over the curtain, the second pitch climbs another short pillar above.
Anchor: Many alder bushes are available for setting up anchors. Communication can be difficult on this climb. Bring 2-ways or set up a belay on top of the step. |
