Approach:  After leaving the Eagle River Nature Center, one will arrive at Echo Bend after about 45 minutes to an hour hike/ski.  Spruce Pitch is located low in the trees exactly between Hollow Icicle and 3-Ring Circus.  Bushwhack through trees then ascend moderate terrain to the bottom of the ice.

Route: This is a broad ice formation with varying difficulty.  Choose your difficulty level and go for it! 

Anchor: Large trees exist at the top of the climb.
