Chitina River Ice Climbing - Tonsina River
The climbs in this area are located just after one crosses the Tonsina River Bridge before the town of Chitina.  They are hidden in a series of gullies in the woods on the south side of the road and are hard to spot from the road.  These routes can vary from long fat easy climbs to nonexistent in other years.  As you are looking at the hillside the climb to the left is Otter Slide and the climb to the right is Green Sling.
